Wivenhoe House hotel

Wivenhoe House is a 40 bedroom luxury hotel which re-opened as a four-star establishment in 2012 after a massive refurbishment. The main house is Grade II listed and featured in John Constable’s famous Wivenhoe Park landscape, now handing in the National Gallery of Art Washington DC. With firstsite gallery nearby in Colchester we are also a short drive from Dedham and the Alfred Munnings museum. We have an award-winning restaurant and are renowned for our elegant afternoon teas.
