Standard Quay

Standard Quay is one of Faversham's hidden gems! Sitting alongside the Creek at the end of Abbey Street and within easy walking distance of the town centre, Standard Quay gives the visitor a truly unique experience. Offering Creekside walking, shopping, eating and a chance to see Faversham's living history. It is home to several classic barges and boats, as well as traditional fishing boats, classic tugs and overnight moorings of all sorts! One of Standard Quay's classic 'barn' buildings, which dates back to the seventeen hundreds, is the temporary home of the Cambria Thames Barge Exhibition. It is also home of the recently renovated Customs House which has been derelict for over 50 years. Standard Quay also offer the fun experience of renting their Surrey bikes which can be enjoyed round Faversham.
