Essex Summer of Art

Every year over 20 art trails and open studio events take place across Essex. Often voluntary run, they invite artists to display work in local shops, drawing footfall to Essex businesses whilst providing a showcase for artistic talent. Artist studios meanwhile open their doors to the public, offering visitors the chance to see artists at work and buy locally made pieces.

The programme invites visitors to explore not only Essex’s many Arts Trails and Open Studios but to make a day of it and visit other local attractions and cafes and experience all that Essex has to offer.
