Macknade Fine Foods
Macknade Fine Foods has been running in Faversham for over 170 years with ever-increasing success. What started life as a family farm is now one of the UK’s leading food halls, set over a thriving 10,000sqft.
Macknade is both a genuine alternative to supermarket shopping and a destination for speciality items. Produce ranges from local cheese to exotic fruit, Kentish wine to craft beer… and if they don’t sell it, they can almost certainly get it for you!
The famous delicatessen counter is an impressive sight, housing over 200 kinds of cheese, including several British farmhouse classics. The delicatessen also stocks a large range of unusual charcuterie, which is cut & prepared to order, as well as olives, pies & scotch eggs.
Macknade is also home to the only certified butcher of pasture-fed meat in East Kent, preparing a variety of cuts taken from whole animals sourced in the South East. From lamb, pork and beef that is full of flavour, through to the highest grade chickens and game, the focus is on quality, skill & provenance.
And after all that shopping, don’t forget to stop for a bite to eat in the on-site café. Located within the award-winning food hall, the Macknade Café is renowned for its great coffee, brunch & deli platters, made using ingredients all sourced within the shop.
Macknade Fine Foods is located just a short walk from Faversham town centre, at the junction of Selling Road and the A2.
