The Woodville Theatre
The Woodville Theatre is Gravesend’s premier music, theatre, cinema and entertainment venue.
The Woodville consists of both a main auditorium and studio theatre spaces hosting a dynamic programme of theatre, touring dramas, live performances, community projects, music and Comedies.
The main auditorium holds up to 650 people across 3 levels, with disabled access.
The Auditorium also doubles up as the Paul Greengrass cinema, showing the latest films and live broadcasts. It is Gravesends only cinema.
Beneath the Auditorium you will find the Studio theatre space this space holds up to 180 people and hosts the very successful monthly comedy club, as well as children’s shows and drama.
Our creative programme aims to address the challenge of how to be commercially successful whilst at the same time presenting a varied and enriching calendar of entertainment.
The Blake Gallery, an onsite gallery for local exhibitions. Named after British painter and illustrator Sir Peter Blake.
At the front of The Woodville is 'Community Square'. This large space is used for Cultural and community events, including outdoor concerts and theatre.
All areas of the Woodville are available for private hire, whether it is for a conference, community project, Wedding, party or a theatre show, The Woodville will happily try to accommodate your every need.
